Herbaceous notes are divided into 2 families in perfumery (Fougère with fresh aromatics and Chypré with mossy greens). Herbal teas are made with cooling or soothing herbs, grasses, and leaves without tea, also called 'tisanes', while herbaceous teas are tea with these components. It may include citrusy grasses but are not citrus teas.
