This herbal tea is prepared with a 3 herb base:

Verbena officinalis, also called "common vervain", "common verbena" or "herb of the cross", a perennial herb native to Europe and Asia. It was a highly regarded as a sacred plant in Ancient cultures, from Druids, Greeks and Romans in Europe to Ancient Egyptians and Persians for medicinal, ceremonial and superstitious use. During Medieval time, it was cultivated in every monastic herb garden (or "herbarium") used by monks for its healing properties and shared with the local community.

Lemon verbena (Aloysia citrodora), an aromatic variety of the same species but with a sharp lemony scent to flavour dishes, liquors. It is used for herbal medicine, tea and cosmetics. Its intense scent is due to its high level of terpenes. The name "terpene" is a shortened form of "terpentine", an obsolete spelling of "turpentine", designating aromatic compounds found in many plants such as coniferous, lavender and cardamom. Hence, the fictional Latin appellation of "Terpinolum" we've imagined for this tea abundant in terpenes. But fear not, you will not taste like turpentine. It's a beautiful floral fresh spicy brew that will relax your senses.

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe, Iran and Asia, with hairy scalloped leaves and a mild lemon scent. Good for digestion and anxiety, it used as a herb, in teas and flavouring in fruit dishes, candies, ice cream, fish and even pesto and pickling.

This super fragrant floral infusion is a delight for the olfactory senses and the palate. The verbena duo imparts a delightful floral lemony aroma to the infusion, complemented by the bold floral spicy tones of lavender and cardamom.

The delightful and clean taste with a hint of earthy woodiness imparts a lingering freshness on the palate as you slow down your state of mind to get ready for relaxation and sleep.

We've amplified the floral freshness of the blend by incorporating a bit of edible lavender and cardamom essential oils for their powerful and instantaneous impact on the mind and body.

Essential oil accord: Organic French lavender essential oil, organic Guatemala cardamom essential oil.
Botanical inclusions: French and Albania lavender flower Super Blue, blue cornflower petals. 

Vegan, no artificial flavours or preservatives.

Steeping: Add 1 teaspoon of tea per cup in filtered boiled water (195℉-205℉) and steep for 7-8 minutes. Strain with a very fine mesh strainer or a tea filter bag and enjoy! To fully uncover the earthy herbal facet, brew several times.

Sipping: Verbena and lavender are used as a tisane with lemon, honey or sugar. You can cold-brew to make a boba style tea with tapioca pearls. Enjoy it iced tea with lemon or minty herbs or as a lemonade. Incorporate into your baking and cooking recipes to infuse fresh floral notes.

When it comes to pairing beverages with desserts and meals that have a citrus or fresh flavour profile, flowery herbal teas like lavender are an excellent choice. After the 3rd brew, the earthier flavour will harmonizes nicely with mild dishes such as soups and stews.
