Saffron chai masala

Masala means "spice blend" for cooking in Hindi. So, a chai masala is a blend of spices and ginger powder added to Indian tea to make it flavourful. Each family has its own recipe. Some add saffron and vanilla beans or other spices.

Yet, as not everyone likes saffron or vanilla, in order to educate taste buds and truly experience their single note, we've create a decomposed blend in 3 versions: the classic cardamom chai masala, the saffron chai masala, and the vanilla chai masala. This way, you can also get to play mixologist and blend them together to your taste. This is the saffron version. The 2 others will be launched this Spring, so stay tuned.

Latte sprinkle was invented in Italy as a cocoa powder sprinkled to add a visual effect on coffee latte foam topping. The spicy version is, in fact, a recent take by modern American coffee shop chains as a nod to the Italian tradition with an Indian touch, to enhance hot drink with a little bit of spicy extra.

Our Saffron chai masala is unlike any other chai masala. It's a divine aromatic spice blend of finely powdered premium chai tea spices with premium Persian Sargol saffron.

Use it as a single blend or combine with our other flavours to add a unique signature with a floral saffrony spicy effect while adding a decorative touch to your creations, or offer as a gift.

Ingredients: Organic granulated cane sugar, premium organic cinnamon, organic ginger, organic clove, organic allspice, organic nutmeg, organic cardamom, Persian Sargol saffron, Guatemala cardamom essential oil. 

Vegan, no added flavours, no preservatives.

How to: Add a pinch to your hot beverages, lattes, turmeric milk, baking preparations, pastries, dishes, oatmeals, and other preparations.

Storage: Store your chai masala jar away from humidity and always use a clean, dry spoon when using it.
